Semaj Booker was sentenced Tuesday to the 26 days in juvenile detention he's already served. Superior Court Judge Frank Cuthbertson also ordered Semaj to perform four hours of community service and write a letter of apology to Tacoma police.

A psychologist who evaluated Semaj Booker said the boy was "unable to form the requisite mental capacity to 'intend' to commit a crime," court documents said. Dr. Michael Comte said Semaj was affected by insomnia and/or a toxic reaction to his ADHD medication, Adderall.
