At 4:55 p.m. on Monday March 8, a suspect robbed Umpqua Bank (formerly Rainier Pacific Bank) located in the 4900 block of Borgen Blvd.
The suspect approached the bank counter and...more gave the teller an envelope with a note written on it demanding cash. The suspect whispered to the teller that it was a robbery, then grabbed the cash and fled the bank on a bicycle.
The suspect was last seen leaving the bicycle in a nearby Costco parking lot and entering a waiting green sedan, which then sped away from the area.
The suspect is described as a white male, 35 to 45 years old, 6’2”, slender build, with an auburn/brown wig and a goatee.
During the robbery he was seen wearing blue jeans, a dark blue baseball hat, a dark coat, one black and one white fabric gloves.

The Bogues got behind in their payments. The bank agreed to a short sale. So they moved out to keep the house ready to show at a moment's notice.
But when they went to check on the house on Saturday, they saw an entire family moving in with their beds, their clothes and all of the kids' toys, including the son's baseball card collection.
"And there they were, parked in the driveway and all their furniture inside," said Eric Bogue, "eating dinner in my kitchen."
"And then we called and the bank said they said they didn't authorize that," said Ashlie Bogue.
